Scrap Happie

Aaah.... back to the scrap. 

I took a non-voluntary hiatus from posting scrapbooking pages because my scanner outlived my computer's operating system. But never fear, I got a new one! (If you are actually disappointed by that fact, there's a good chance you landed at my blog by accident. I'm just saying.) As with every new piece of equipment, there's a slight learning curve: don't you love that blue-ish discoloration on the bottom right corner, near the buttons? Darn.

I've said in the past that I like to make a card to "coordinate" with each scrapbook page. No, I don't need it to match. I'm lucky if I get two matching socks out of the laundry, so I couldn't actually intentionally match my scrapbook pages and handmade cards! No way. Instead, this is a matter of convenience and leftovers.

I already had the buttons picked out, the rub-ons were out of their annoying but somehow necessary cellophane packaging, and I already had the mess of tags clumped on my counter. So why not make the best of it?

Now it just needs to be someone's birthday.
